The route Hanoi – Bac Ninh – Ha Long is the shortest route of about 155 km. It takes 3 hours to move from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay:
You can move from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay with passenger cars at Lương Yên or Mỹ Đình coach station. The first cars will depart at 6.00 AM, and the last cars will depart at 17.00 PM. Ticket prices are from VND 100,000 to VND 200,000 (Hanoi to Bai Chay coach station, Ha Long, Quang Ngai province).
Train from Hanoi to Ha Long
You can choose Ha Long Express train, which departs from Gia Lam at 07.05 AM. It takes 5 hours moving from Hanoi to Ha Long by train. Ticket price is about USD 5.00 for the Vietnamese and USD 15.00 for foreigners.
